With excitement, we announce the opening of Read Industrial’s new CNC building.

After extensive growth within our general engineering department, we built a new addition to our current factory. This allows for an inclusive space to house all our CNC lathes and mills, and our valued team.

So, after months of anticipation and planning our specialists moved 80% of our CNC lathes and milling machines to our new CNC building. To this end, we employed extensive methodology and risk mitigation with handling our most valuable machinery. As a result of careful manoeuvring, the cranes ensured quite the spectacle as our 15 tonne lathes and machines were lifted through the roof of our original factory.

In the CNC machine shop, there are multiple Okuma CNC milling and turning machines available to agricultural machine parts. CAD/CAM and CNC simulation software are used to ensure that the machines produce the parts to a high standard and operate in an ideal manner. There are two high-speed CNC mills, including a 5-axis mill and 4-axis mill. For CNC turning there are four machines available including, a twin spindle 6-axis CNC turning centre, a twin spindle, twin turret turning centre and two 2-axis CNC lathes.
