The types of material used determines the strength, durability, and resistance to corrosion. Our scope of work is diverse and extensive. Furthermore, we are happy to support our clients with urgent repairs, alterations, and after-hours work if required.

Our Fabrication Manager Ian Peddie has worked at Read Industrial for over 24 years. Years of knowledge has been gained from working on projects within a diverse range of industries. Ian leads his team of 10 permanent- long term staff to provide a complete fabrication service. As well as Reads onsite designers, foundry staff, technicians, fitters and operators with the factories.
We fabricate in our engineering workshops while utilising the other Read industrial factories.
- CNC Machining Factory – CAD/CAM Design. Custom parts designed for precision and accuracy, to agreed tolerances. We specialize in precision CNC Milling, 5-axis milling, CNC Turning, Manual Milling & Turning. Surface Grinding.
- Our factory includes three types of foundries: sand casting, die casting, and investment casting.
- We Design, Manufacture & Build Robust Rotary & Herringbone Milking Machines. Read Milking Systems. Portable Milkers and Irrigation Parts.
The scope of work:
- Gates, frames, barriers, bumper rails, wall, & support brackets, doors, handrails, balustrades, metal staircases and bollards.
- Stock cages, irrigation parts, machinery modification, agricultural products.
- Boat hulls, accessories, bespoke design, access ladders, rod holders, bait stations, grab rails, outboard trollies, stainless steel anchors.
